“Let’s Play” with Phyllis Hammond

Phyllis Baker Hammond is a world renowned artist who began as a student when awarded a scholarship at the Boston Museum of Fine art where she began her career with pottery and ceramics.

The artist works mainly in Aluminum and resides in East Hampton where she has her studio and sculpture garden.

Hammond's “Let’s Play” series was curated and coordinated by Cindy Glanzrock's HACP: Hamptons Art Curatorial Program, a division of BACP: Building Art Curatorial Program whose aim is to find artist's and place their work in relevant locations in order to expose the artwork and attract new enthusiasts and collectors.

Specifically curated for the opening of Circo Southampton with it's playful and colorful circus theme; Le Cirque/Circo has for decades been known for its high culinary standards, with it's classic preparation while keeping a sense of style and good fun. Both Phyllis Hammond and the Maccioni family share these works with you and hope you find it to be fun and playful.

All works on display and others are available for sale. Studio visits in "The Springs", East Hampton, New York can be arranged by appointments. Hammond was recently showcased at the 48th Annual Artists of the Springs Invitational at Ashawagh Hall, East Hampton, NY.
