The unveiling of the panels will happen Friday July 13th during Art Walk in the historic Paterson, NJ at the Art Factory. Dave Garcia who created ArtWalk on his families property told me that he is “very excited to share” this work after all these years and he has had people calling sharing their memories of the iconic.
Looking forward to seeing it again myself after my grandparents, George and Ruth Farkas commissioned the artist, Stefan 55 years ago to make this 200 x 40 Mural after seeing his work at Heathrow airport in the 1950’s.
I am less concerned who owns the work now, but Happy that someone had the good sense to preserve it and that it will be seen, which is why Artists make ART.
